Crafting a Raven boat is an intricate process that requires skill,
attention to detail and finesse. From beginning to end raven boats
are carefully constructed by hand.
It begins with the mould. The mould is polished to a high gloss and
must be completely free of imperfections. Striping tape is then
applied to allow crafters to add different colours and designs. The
finest quality gelcoat is applied for waterproofing and to determine
colour. The craft is then hand laminated to ensure uniformity and
utmost quality. The hull and deck, separate until now, are joined.
Carpets, upholstery, and the windscreen are fitted and the boat is
ready for finishing.
